"As a senior leader for a top tier consulting firm, I had spent 20 years growing my career and traveling around the country to my client locations. As a result, I struggled for many years with managing many health issues. In 2005, I went on disability leave for the first time for sinus surgery, began allergy. Heartburn & migraine treatments with many prescription medications. I also was told I would need surgery for spinal stenosis. Since that date, I had regularly been to many neurologists and continued seeing my ENT along with any specialist I could find that might help resolve the problems, including other naturopathic practitioners. LIFE THREATENING IMMUNE PROBLEMS

“For 13 years I had been under the care of an immunologist... I was told I would not live without them and that my body would never be capable of making my own. I had to have a 45-55g of immunoglobulin infusion every 3 weeks that lasted 4-6 hours a time to keep my IGG levels up. “I had one last wish as I blankly stared at the finality of my own life. Being able to see my granddaughter graduate was the final milestone I hoped to witness. It seemed like a long-shot, even though it was only two months away. I was admitted to the hospital after being seen at the Emergency Room in March of 2017. "Last summer, one Sunday morning while I was putting on my lip balm, I noticed that I could not rub my lips together. The problem was specifically on the right side of my mouth. I didn’t think too much about it, just figured that it was some sort of allergy or inflammation going on with my lips. I also noticed my right eye was watering quite a bit that day, but I didn’t put the two together. The next morning, however, the symptoms had gotten much worse. Digestive Issues, Severe Macular Degeneration & Panic attacks

“I started seeing Dr. Janine in June of 2017. I was having stomach and digestion issues and knew I was in need of a heavy metal detox. “In December of 2006, Kate came to me for therapy. She had a scar in the middle of her left eye that she wanted me to help her dissolve. 

Back in 2002, Kate had cataract surgery. Unfortunately, she became a medical statistic. Errors were made that she was not told about and they were covered up. Months later, her left eye had a retinal detachment and over the following three months, she had four more. The surgeries left her eye tissue swollen, chronic headaches that incapacitated her and unable to recover. She also had developed a macular pucker, which is the wrinkling of the retina due to it swelling. Now blind, she was told there was nothing they could do to reverse the macular pucker. Her vision was 20/2400. Shocked and in disbelief, she left the medical profession and began a search for someone to help her get her vision back. Kate was directed toward many practitioners that used alternative therapies, including other frequency machines. They helped, but the macular pucker was still present. Her vision was better, but the scar still distorted her vision. It made people look like they were all very thin, the equivalent of constantly looking into a fun zone mirror. TRAUMATIC HEAD INJURY

“My daughter, Alaina, suffered a traumatic head injury in January of 2007 when she was seven months old. She had a skull fracture and a subdural hematoma that covered almost half of her brain. The massive subdural hematoma caused her to develop a condition called Acquired Hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is a condition in which excess CSF (Cerebrospinal Fluid) builds up in the brain, causing abnormal enlargement of the ventricles in the brain that contain CSF. Too much of this fluid in the ventricles can put increased pressure on the brain, potentially damaging it. 

To alleviate the pressure on Alaina’s brain, her neurosurgeons implanted a subdural shunt to drain the fluid from her brain into her abdominal cavity. They said that the shunt would be permanent. In addition, she would require brain surgery every two to three years for the rest of her life, along with frequent antibiotics. Janine Kennedy of Quantum Health, had heard of Alaina’s story and told me about Bioscan. I was a single mom without the extra resources to pay for alternative therapies that her insurance did not cover. Dr. Janine graciously offered to see Alaina anyway. After confirming with Alaina’s neurosurgeons that it would not hurt to give it a try, we began therapy with the Bioscan Pro in the summer of 2007. The sessions were between forty-five to sixty minutes each. Alaina was able to sit in my lap and play throughout the entire session. We met with Dr. Janine for therapy about every week for the next few months.

In November of 2007, at a follow up appointment with Alaina’s neurosurgeon, I asked the doctor if they could run some tests on Alaina to determine if her shunt was still needed. They were very resistant and still felt sure that her shunt would be needed for the rest of her life.I continued to insist & they eventually agreed to perform a procedure. This procedure involved making an incision in her abdomen and inserting a clamp on the shunt catheter that would stop it from functioning. If Alaina’s condition was indeed permanent, without the shunt functioning, the fluid buildup would return. Alaina spent three days in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit after the procedure to monitor the pressure in her brain. During those three days there was no increase in pressure and the doctors decided to send her home with the shunt still clamped off and not functional.(They were convinced she would still need it) We were to watch for a few weeks to see if the fluid buildup returned. A CT scan was performed four weeks after the procedure to determine if the fluid buildup had returned. We anxiously awaited the phone call from her neurosurgeon with the results.

When we got the phone call, he informed us that the CT scan showed that the fluid buildup had not returned and that somehow Alaina’s brain had healed! She no longer had Hydrocephalus and was scheduled to have the shunt removed entirely. Alaina underwent surgery on December 28, 2007 to have the shunt removed and was sent home the following afternoon. She has been a totally healthy and happy little girl since! “I met Dr. Janine about fourteen years ago. At that time, I wasn’t sure what was going on with me. I was having severe night time panic attacks. I would wake up in the middle of the night, not being able to breathe. My chest would be tight and I would be gasping for air. These panic attacks were happening pretty regularly for a while and then even started happening during the day. I would go outside to attempt to catch my breath and immediately after the light would touch my skin I’d break out in hives everywhere. It was so awful.
